Narin is an active 22-month-old toddler. She has an older sister, and her parents sell vegetables and rice at the local market. Narin is not old enough to attend school yet, but she enjoys playing with her sister and drawing with crayons and paint.
Earlier this month, Narin developed a mass on her lower lip that is causing her pain and swelling. Her mother was concerned and brought her to our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre (CSC), for review. The doctors determined Narin needs to undergo surgery to heal, and she is scheduled to receive treatment on July 1st to remove the mass. CSC is requesting $273 to fund this procedure.
Narin’s mother shared, “I hope we can get help for her and she will have a normal lip again.”

Narin underwent mass removal surgery.
Narin and her family traveled to our medical partner CSC on the advice of relatives. Doctors removed a large cyst and she was able to return home the following day. Narin is feeling happy she has no more pain, and her mother is happy because Narin can grow up healthy.
Narins’ mother said: “I was so worried the lump was permanent, and other children would make fun of her. We are very grateful that the surgeons were able to fix it, and she can grow up to be a beautiful girl. Thank you for everyone who paid for her surgery and to the hospital staff who took such good care of her.”
