Komukama is a child from Uganda. She is in nursery school. Her parents are farmers. They want her to become a doctor in the future.
Since birth, Komukama has had an umbilical hernia. This hernia causes her pain and discomfort, especially when coughing or laughing. Fortunately, on May 23, she will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $249 to fund Komukama’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow her to live more comfortably.
Her father says, “After surgery I will settle down and my daughter will resume her studies when their holidays end.”
