Tumwesigye is a small-scale farmer from Uganda. She has six children.
For one year, Tumwesigye has been experiencing severe abdominal bleeding and pain. She has been diagnosed with an invasive mole. She needs to undergo a hysterectomy, a procedure in which surgeons will remove her uterus.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $208 to fund Tumwesigye’s surgery. On October 4, she will undergo gynecological surgery at our medical partner’s care center. Once recovered, Tumwesigye will be able to resume her daily activities free of pain.
Tumwesigye says, “I wish my health can be restored to enable me continue with cultivation for the support to my family after surgery.”
