Bunthat is a 24-year-old food seller from Cambodia. He has two sisters and three brothers. In his spare time, he enjoys playing tennis, watching TV, and listening to music.
One month ago, he was in a motor vehicle accident, causing a fracture of his leg, specifically the tibia bone. He immediately received surgical care, and hardware was placed to help in healing. This hardware is now causing him pain and discomfort, and surgery to remove the hardware is crucial to ensure further complications, such as infections, don’t occur. His treatment is scheduled for May 22.
Bunthat learned about our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre, from his neighbor who also received care from them. He traveled four hours to reach the center. Removal of the hardware will alleviate Bunthat from the pain in his leg and will allow him to continue working and enjoying his hobbies comfortably.
