Srea is a 21-year-old farmer with three older brothers and two older sisters, all of whom are married and live with their families. Srea used to sell paint in town but returned home to help his parents grow and harvest potatoes on their family farm. In his free time, he enjoys listening to music, playing football with friends, and helping his mother with housework.
A year ago, Srea fractured his right femur in a motorcycle accident. He went to a government clinic, where surgeons were able to insert a pin in his femur to help his fracture heal. Although Srea’s wound has healed, there is a continual ache in his leg and he needs to undergo a follow-up surgery.
Fortunately, our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre (CSC), can help Srea receive this treatment. On March 14th, he will undergo a hardware removal procedure to remove the pin from his leg which will help him to finally heal. CSC is requesting $230 to help fund this procedure.
Srea shared, “I hope that the hardware will be removed, and I will have no more pain.”
