Kasakula is a 71-year-old maize and tobacco farmer from Malawi. He spends his free time planting trees in his community and enjoys listening to radio programs.
Since April of 2016, Kasakula has had issues with urination due to an enlarged prostate. He has a benign condition that can be treated by surgery. He is very happy to have the opportunity to receive care at our medical partner’s care center, Nkhoma Hospital.
In order to help Kasakula, our medical partner, World Altering Medicine, is requesting $733 to fund his surgery and hospital stay. He is scheduled to undergo surgery on July 13.
“Thank you for welcoming me,” Kasakula says. “I hope this problem is going to end after the surgery.”
