Tabaro is a 75-year-old married father of eight from Uganda. He works with his wife as farmers to support their large family.
For the past 12 years, Tabaro has been experiencing swelling in his lower abdomen and groin. Only recently has the swelling and pain increased to a level where Tabaro is unable to work.
Tabaro has been diagnosed with a left inguinal (groin) hernia and needs surgery to repair it. Seeking treatment through our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, Tabaro is scheduled to undergo hernia repair surgery on June 14. He is requesting $249 to cover the total cost of his treatment, and is thankful to be able to resume farming once he is recovered.
