Sokkhouy is a university student from Cambodia. He likes listening to pop music, reading books, and spending time with friends. He is studying banking at univeristy.
In February 2018, Sokkhouy was in a motor vehicle accident that caused a fracture in his left femur. He cannot walk, is in chronic pain, and is unable to attend classes since the accident.
Fortunately, surgeons at our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre, can help. On April 27, Sokkhouy will undergo a fracture repair procedure, which will cost $430. This procedure will help him walk easily again.

Sokkhouy underwent fracture repair surgery.
Sokkhouy’s surgery went well and he’s been working with the physiotherapy team to improve the mobility and function in his leg. Surgery will allow Sokkhouy to greatly improve his quality of life and allow him to walk and work without pain.
His mother says, “I am very pleased with the results of my son’s surgery.”
