Tusiime is an expectant mother from Uganda who owns a retail shop and sells rice, maize flour, and other items. She is married and has two children. The oldest is a student, and the younger one is still too young for school.
Tusiime had two prior C-sections, and needs another for this delivery. If Tusiime delivered without a C-section, she could have a ruptured uterus, and her life as well as her baby’s would be in danger. After surgery, Tusiime hopes to continue working in her shop, taking care of her two children and the new baby that she is eagerly awaiting.
Her treatment is scheduled for November 7th. Watsi is requesting $280 to help fund Tusiime’s procedure.
Tusiime said, “After surgery, I will go for a thanksgiving mass in church to show God my sincere thanks and to pray for the Watsi organization.”
