Evas is a 29-year-old farmer, who lives with her husband and three children. Evas feeds her family from the crops produced through her farming, while selling off any surplus for income. Her husband works as a cook at a school, but they shared that he doesn’t earn very much from his job.
Evas is pregnant and at the antenatal clinics she has attended, it was strongly recommended that she undergo a Caesarean section due to how her earlier deliveries went. Doctors are concerned that Evas might experience a uterine rupture if she delivers her baby vaginally.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is here to help. They are requesting $252 to fund Evas’ C-section, which is scheduled for June 9th, at Karoli Lwanga Hospital in Nyakibale.
Evas says: “My husband and I work so hard to sustain our family, but even though we double our efforts, we won’t be able to raise the funds required for our surgery. We kindly ask you for support.”
