Chhanny is a 31-year-old car mechanic from Cambodia. He has been married for five years but does not have any children yet. He likes to play volleyball and football, and listen to romantic music.
In April of 2018, Chhanny was in a motor vehicle accident that caused a fracture. He went across the border to Vietnam for treatment, then returned to Cambodia. Chhanny visited a clinic where doctors inserted hardware to heal his fracture. Now, the bone has healed and Chhanny needs to have the hardware removed. His neighbors shared with him that he should come to our medical partner’s care center for the treatment he needed.
Fortunately, surgeons at our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre, can help. On August 3rd, Chhanny will undergo a hardware removal procedure, which will cost $230. This procedure will help him walk easily again. CSC is requesting $230 to fund this surgery.
Chhanny hopes that the hardware will be removed and his wound will heal quickly.
