Judith is a small-scale farmer. She is 26 years old and a mother to 2 children, both delivered by Caesarean section. She got to Nyakibale Hospital by foot from home to seek support after learning about the potential for surgical support program at the hospital. She managed to pursue a certificate in secretarial studies but failed to get a professional job due to the current economy and currently does farming. Her husband is in the bodaboda (motorcycle taxi) business, and they live in a two-roomed mud house. During her free time, she enjoys enjoys listening to music in her free time.
She is currently expecting her third child. Her doctors recommend that she deliver via a caesarean section as this way, doctors can ensure the safety of both mother and child.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is helping Judith undergo a C-Section on December 16th. This procedure will cost $252, and Judith needs your support.
Judith says, “It has always been a challenge to get out of the hospital whenever I deliver by surgery due to the hospital bill, but I have hopes that when given your support, all will be well.”
