Hory is a 10-year-old boy who, when he was a year old, crawled too close to a cooking fire and severely burned his hand. Now, he suffers from serious burn scar contractures that limit the mobility of his hand. This makes it difficult for Hory to do everyday activities and live a normal life.
Fortunately, surgeons at Children’s Surgical Centre can perform contracture release and skin graft surgery to improve the mobility of Hory’s fingers.
Hory is the only child of rice farmers. He is in the third grade, and his favorite things to do are play outside with his friends and listen to music. Hory looks forward to getting his hand fixed so he can live a normal, active 10-year-old boy life.
