Sokha is a mother of two from Cambodia. She has a small shop outside her home, seven hours drive from our medical partner. She has one son and one daughter.
In November of 2016, she was in a car accident near her village and broke her femur. She is in pain, and it is difficult to walk.
Fortunately, surgeons at our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre, can help. On October 12, Sokha will undergo a fracture repair procedure, which will cost $430. Surgery can help her walk again and eliminate the pain.

Sokha underwent fracture repair surgery.
Sokha’s surgery went well and she’s doing regular physiotherapy as her mobility and function in her leg continues to improve. Surgery and post-op care has aligned the bone, and her doctor expects she’ll be able to return to work once she is fully healed.
Her mother says, “Thank you for helping my daughter. I’m happy to see her doing better.”
