Pisal is a 38-year-old English teacher from Cambodia who is married. In his free time, he likes to research lessons to teach and watch TV.
In 2003, Pisal was in a motor vehicle accident. As a result of his injuries, the left side of his body was paralyzed, and he is unable to walk due to trauma to his left ankle.
Pisal heard about Watsi’s medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre (CSC), from his neighbor. Pisal and his father traveled for four hours reach CSC’s care center, Kien Khleang National Rehabilitation Centre, for evaluation and treatment.
On August 1, surgeons will perform a procedure to lengthen Pisal’s Achilles tendon to help him walk easily again. CSC requests $497 to pay for the surgery, seven nights in the hospital, lab tests, an X-ray, and physical therapy.
Let’s help fund surgery for Pisal!
