Samon is a 67-year-old farmer. She has four daughters and ten grandchildren. She likes to cook for her family and look after her grandchildren.
About five months ago, Samon developed a cyst on the floor of her mouth. It is difficult for Samon to eat, and she is in pain.
Samon heard about our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre (CSC), from a neighbor. She traveled for three hours with her husband to reach CSC for treatment. On January 19, surgeons will remove the cyst from Samon’s mouth. CSC is requesting $224 to fund her cyst removal. After treatment, Samon will be able to eat easily again.

Samon underwent a cyst removal.
Samon’s treatment went well. Surgeons at CSC successfully removed the cyst. Her wound has healed nicely, and she does not experience pain. Samon is now able to eat more easily than before.
Samon says, “I’m happy to be able to work to support my family again.”
