Musinguzi is an 11-month-old baby boy from Uganda.
When he was two months old, Musinguzi developed swelling in his lower abdomen. Eventually, the swelling spread to more sensitive areas, causing him pain and discomfort. His family visited our medical partner’s care center, Holy Family Virika Hospital, where he was diagnosed with a right scrotal hernia. Treatment is important to ensure Musinguzi doesn’t develop intestinal blockage or damage.
Fortunately, he will be undergoing repair surgery on January 18. The surgery will cost $249.
