Christine is a 31-year-old mother of four from Uganda. She is a subsistence farmer who grows millet, groundnuts, maize, and yams. Her husband, Innocent, is a primary school teacher in their village.
Three of their children attend primary school, while the fourth is still a toddler. In her free time, Christine enjoys playing with her children at home. In the evening, while she prepares dinner, her husband helps the children with their homework assignments.
Christine is pregnant again with twins. Doctors consider this a risky pregnancy because there will be multiple births. In addition, one of the babies is in a breech presentation. On November 11, Christine checked into the hospital to deliver her babies. She needs help to fund her $241 medical bill.
“I want to thank the people that support my safe delivery,” she says. “May God bless you abundantly.”
