Eunice is a farmer from Kenya. She has four children. She plants maize and beans, which she sells to support her family.
In January, Eunice was crossing the road when she was hit by a speeding motorcycle. Upon arrival to the hospital, she underwent an x-ray and was diagnosed with a right hip fracture. She is not able to sit upright or walk. She is also in a lot of pain.
Fortunately, surgeons at our medical partner can help. On February 15, Eunice will undergo a fracture repair procedure, called an open reduction and internal fixation. This procedure will help her walk and sit up again. Now, our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $966 to fund this procedure.
“I can’t stand nor sit down, I am going through a lot of pain. I hope to be treated soon so that I can regain my energy,” says Eunice.
