Akandinda is a young student from Uganda. He is nine years old and likes playing football. His parents are small scale farmers.
For two years, Akandinda has had a hydrocele, which is a swelling in a sensitive area. This causes him pain and discomfort as the swelling grows bigger. Fortunately, on November 9, he will undergo hydrocele repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $139 to fund Akandinda’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably.
Akandinda’s mother says, “I will be very pleased when my child is treated and continues with studying. I will also continue with cultivation for the survival of our family.”
