Phearum is a student at a university in Cambodia. He is studying the English language and hopes to be an English teacher. He enjoys watching action films and reading.
In April 2015, he was injured while playing football with friends. Ever since, he has had difficulty walking and experiences chronic pain in his foot and toes. He needs to have the post-traumatic mass amputated so that he can walk without pain again.
Surgery is scheduled for April 24. Now, he needs help raising $413 to fund the procedure.
He says, “After surgery I hope I can walk normally again, and without pain.”

Phearum underwent an amputation.
Phearum’s surgery went well and he’s been working with the physiotherapy team to improve the mobility and function in his foot. The mass was removed and one of his toes was amputated. Surgery will allow Phearum to greatly improve his quality of life and allow him to walk again.
He says, “I am happy with the results. Now I can walk without pain. Thank you for helping me.”
