Thorn is a rice farmer from Cambodia. He has five children and enjoys spending time at home looking after his rice field.
Thorn has been in pain for about four years, following an accident in which he was knocked over by a cow. He has difficulty walking, including walking with his cows on the rice field, and thus is unable to work most of the time.
Fortunately, Thorn learned about our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre. At CSC, surgeons can perform a total knee replacement to relieve Thorn of his pain and allow him to walk easily. Treatment is scheduled for January 11, and Thorn needs help raising $1,025 to pay for this procedure.
He says, “I want to be able to work and take care of my family.”
