Sum is a 70-year-old rice farmer from Cambodia. She has twelve grandchildren and likes to listen to the monks pray on the radio.
Three months ago, Sum developed a cataract in each eye, causing her blurry and cloudy vision. She has difficulty seeing things clearly, recognizing faces, and going anywhere outside.

Now, she needs help to fund this $398 procedure.
She says, “I hope that after surgery, I am able to see more clearly and go back to the pagoda to join the ceremonies.”
