Rosemary is a college student from Tanzania. Her husband is a small businessman, while her parents are farmers. Rosemary pays for her tuition through student loans.
Since she was a teenager, Rosemary has been experiencing trouble breathing and eating and sleep apnea. Frequent illness has caused her to miss school. Rosemary was recently diagnosed with enlarged tonsils, which, if not treated, will cause her symptoms to persist and possibly intensify over time.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $633 to fund a tonsillectomy for Rosemary, which is scheduled to take place on December 28. Surgeons will remove her tonsils, hopefully relieving Rosemary of her symptoms and helping her live more comfortably.
Rosemary says, “Thank you for helping me get treated. God bless you.”
