James is a laborer from Kenya. Earlier this month, while he was fixing an air conditioner, he fell and sustained a closed fracture of his left femur bone. He is in chronic pain and is not able able to walk.
Fortunately, surgeons at our medical partner can help. On June 20, James will undergo a fracture repair procedure, called an open reduction and internal fixation. This procedure will help him walk easily again, and he will be able to go back to work and provide for his family. Now, our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $998 to fund this procedure.
“I am desperate but I hope someone will come to my aid. I am the breadwinner and my family needs my support,” says James.
