Bunnan is a 51-year-old woman with seven daughters. She likes to cook and look after her children.
Fifteen years ago, Bunnan injured a nerve in her right arm that controls motion and sensation in the arm and hand muscles. Since then, Bunnan has been in pain and has had trouble using her fingers.
After learning about our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre (CSC), Bunnan traveled for three hours with her husband to reach CSC for treatment. On November 1, surgeons performed a tendon and muscle procedure. After recovery, she should be able to use her hand easily. Now, she needs help to fund this $450 procedure.
“I hope that I can use my fingers so that I can go home and cook for my children again,” she says.
