Patience is a small scale farmer and mother of two. Her children were delivered by emergency C-section in 2016 and 2018 respectively. Patience finished some school and pursued a tailoring course, but limited finances have prevented her from following this pursuit to a full career. Currently, she does some farming while her husband works as a builder on a part-time basis to support their family. They own a two-room semipermanent house. During her free time, Patience enjoys spending time with her children.
Patience is currently expecting her third child. Her doctors recommend that she deliver via a Caesarean section because of her birthing history. This way, doctors can ensure the safety of both mother and child.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is helping Patience undergo a C-Section on September 8th. This procedure will cost $252, and Patience needs your support.
Patience says, “I will be grateful when I am supported since I am not able to raise anything to clear the hospital bills due to my income through farming.”
