Atuhurra is a student from Uganda. He is the youngest of nine children. Both of his parents are farmers.
Since birth, Atuhurra has had an inguinal hernia. The swelling causes him pain that forces him to miss school. Fortunately, on May 16, he will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $249 to fund Atuhurra’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably.
His mother says, “After surgery my son will no longer feel pain and he will grow with good health.’’
