Benjamin is a beekeeper and a loving father. He has a bachelor’s degree in project management but had difficulty finding a position, so shifted to become a beekeeper. He shared that he lost his first two children at birth, so now his eldest child is 13 years old and does well in school, while his youngest is two years old. He owns a small house to shelter his family.
In 2016, Benjamin had an accident that left him with severe injuries including a swelling on his head. The swell is itchy, painful, and irritating. He went to our medical partner’s care center Rushoroza Hospital and was diagnosed with a hypertrophic scar. He needs an excision but can not raise the funds he needs.
Benjamin traveled to our medical partner’s care center to receive treatment. On February 3rd, surgeons will remove the mass. Now, Benjamin needs help to raise $145 to fund this procedure.
Benjamin says, “My condition is worrying and I can no longer do my day to day duties comfortably. I hope to live a normal life again through surgery. I hope to continue with beekeeping to be able to earn a living for my family.”
