Wilfred is a farmer from Malawi. He lives with his wife on their small farm, and he spends his days tending his land and animals. In his free time Wilfred likes to play with his grandchildren and spend time with his wife and kids.
Since January 2018, Wilfred has had an inguinal hernia. The hernia causes him pain and prevents him from working. Fortunately, on March 27, he will undergo hernia repair surgery at Nkhoma Hospital, our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, World Altering Medicine, is requesting $334 to fund Wilfred’s surgery. The requested money pays for supplies, medications, and six nights of hospital stay. Wilfred was thrilled to find out his surgery would be funded, and he is looking forward to again being active and enjoying his family without pain and discomfort.
He says, “Thank you for your support.”
