Ni is a 39-year-old woman from Burma. She is a single mother who lives with her four children and works as a vegetable vendor.
In the past year, Ni has been unable to work due to constant headaches, back pain, and tiredness. Recently, she was diagnosed with having a uterine mass and recommended to undergo an oophorectomy, the surgical removal of her ovary, to alleviate her pain.
Seeking treatment through our medical partner, Burma Children Medical Fund, Ni is scheduled to undergo surgery on July 5. She is requesting $913 to cover the total cost of her procedure and care.
“I am very happy to have surgery soon,” says Ni.
