Alexa is a two-year-old girl that the only child in her family. Her mother is a housewife who has dedicated her time to raising her and taking care of their home and family. Her father is a casual laborer. The family lives in their three room ancestral home.
Alexa was born with a facial condition that required medical and surgical attention. The reconstruction procedure she underwent exhausted the savings that her parents had and she is now prone to infections.

Alexa underwent her debridement procedure.
Our medical partner shared good news with us about Alexa that we wanted to share with you. Alexa’s surgery went well and was not as complex as the medical team anticipated. Alexa’s mother shared, “This is an amazing Easter present! My kid can now smile again. She is even playful, something she was not for a long time.”
