Saad is a child from Ethiopia. He loves to play football with his friends. He is the youngest in a family of four children.
Saad was born with an anorectal malformation, a congenital abnormality that leads to a complete or partial intestinal blockage. He needs to undergo a series of procedures to eliminate bowel dysfunction.
Saad is scheduled to undergo surgery to correct his condition on June 28. Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $1,500 to cover the total cost of Saad’s procedure and care.
After his recovery, Saad will no longer experience bowel dysfunction or be at risk of developing health complications in the future.
Saad’s mother says, “We are poor farmers with low income…It is our hope to get the surgery and to see our child in a healthy and good position by your support.”
