Tushembire is a 63 years old married mother of six. She earns a living from her banana and coffee plantation while her husband operates a small shop for second-handed clothes.
Tushembire has experienced pelvic bone pain for the past year. She also has severe back and lower limb pains. She has been diagnosed with a prolapsed anterior vaginal wall and cystocele. Her doctors recommend a colporrhaphy treatment. Fortunately our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare, can help. Now, they are requesting $220 to help cover the cost of her surgery.
Tushembire shared, “I am looking forward to having a new life after my surgery so that I can continue with farming and my life.”
