Moses is an 8-month-old baby from Kenya and is the second born of two children in his family. He lives with both of his parents and elder brother in a two-room house in Nairobi suburbs. His mother is a stay-at-home mom while his father is employed casually as an electronic shop attendant.
Moses was diagnosed with cryptorchidism, a condition in which both of the testicles remains undescended. If left untreated, Moses has an increased risk of developing hernias, testicular cancer, and fertility problems in the future.
Moses will be receiving assistance from our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation (AMHF). Fortunately, he is scheduled to undergo corrective surgery on March 20th. AMHF is requesting $542 to cover the total cost of his procedure and care.
“I look forward to see my son better,” says Moses’ mother.
