Eang is a 36-year-old factory worker from Cambodia. In her free time, she enjoys watching television, listening to music, cooking and taking care of her three children.
In December 2018, Eang was in a motorcycle accident and fractured her right leg. She was treated at a nearby hospital, where doctors fixated hardware to help heal the injuries. Now, she experiences pain and it is difficult for her to extend her knee and walk normally.
Fortunately, surgeons at our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre, can help. On December 12th, Eang will undergo a hardware removal procedure, which will cost $214. Surgery will relieve her pain and allow her to walk without any difficulty.
She shared, “I hope that my surgery will go well and I won’t have to experience anymore pain and will be able to walk normally.”
