Vy Thim is a cheerful grandfather from Cambodia. He has two children and enjoys exercising regularly.
Three months ago, Vy Thim developed a cataract in his left eye, causing him blurry vision, and discomfort. He has difficulty seeing things clearly, recognizing faces, and going anywhere outside.
When Vy Thim learned about our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre, he traveled for one hour seeking treatment. On October 3, doctors will perform a small incision cataract surgery and an intraocular lens implant in his left eye. After recovery, he will be able to see clearly. Now, he needs help to fund this $211 procedure.
His wife says, “I hope my husband can see better and I won’t have to worry anymore.”
