Brian is a student from Tanzania. He is in sixth grade, and his best subject is math. He is the third born in a family of three kids. He wants to be an accountant and work in a bank when he grows up.
Ever since Brian was born, he has been experiencing a sore throat and difficulty swallowing. Brian was recently diagnosed with enlarged tonsils, which, if not treated, will cause his symptoms to persist and possibly intensify over time.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $633 to fund a tonsillectomy for Brian, which is scheduled to take place on June 6. Surgeons will remove his tonsils, hopefully relieving Brian of his symptoms and helping him live more comfortably.
Brian’s mother says, “I feel my child has gone through a lot due to his condition. I would be really thankful if you could help him undergo the needed surgery.”
