Happy is a farmer from Uganda. He is an only child. Happy’s mother is a nurse. His father just finished training to be a laboratory assistant, and he is currently working on a volunteer basis.
Since birth, Happy has had a hydrocele, which is a swelling in a sensitive area. The hydrocele has grown big and is making it difficult for Happy to walk. Fortunately, on February 8, he will undergo hydrocele repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $185 to fund Happy’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably.
His mother says, “My son was born with this condition. He needs surgery. We cannot pay for his treatment. We are requesting for help from Watsi.’’
