Robert is a baby from Kenya. He lives with his parents in Nairobi. He is an only child.
Robert was diagnosed with cryptorchidism, a condition in which one or both of the testicles remains undescended. If left untreated, Robert has an increased risk of developing hernias, testicular cancer, and fertility problems in the future.
Robert will be receiving assistance from our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation (AMHF). Fortunately, he is scheduled to undergo corrective surgery on May 17. AMHF is requesting $459 to cover the total cost of his procedure and care.
“We are really worried because he is our only child and we have high hopes for him as he grows. I hope he will get help so that he can grow up like other normal boys,” says Roberts’s mother.
