MISSION

Project Muso is a Partners in Health organization that works with communities in Mali to solve the root causes of health crises. Project Muso’s model integrates health care delivery, community organizing, microenterprise, and education to stop cycles of poverty and disease, and create cycles of health and well being in their place.

Founded in 2005 by a team of Malian and American medical professionals, educators, and social entrepreneurs, Project Muso works in 20 communities and serves more than 56,371 people.

Project Muso has partnered with the Malian Ministry of Health to design a model health care system that ensures quality health care for all community members, and has received recognition for its pioneering work by institutions such as Harvard Medical School.
